FlyBoarding Toronto – A near death experience at Lake Simcoe.

Flyboarding Toronto Experience at Lake Simcoe.

Today was a very remarkable day. First of all, a million thanks to God for saving the life of myself, my friend and the flyboarding instructor today. What was supposed to be a flyboarding fun experience, ended up being a near death experience.

This is the true life story of I and my friend’s experience at Lake Simcoe, with a company called FlyBoarding Toronto, on the 7th of September (Saturday), 2024.

The Rising Tide – Flyboarding Toronto Experience at Lake Simcoe.

It started with the tide rising while we were in the middle of the lake, followed by the FlyBoarding Toronto instructor struggling to manage a series of life threatening complications, that cropped up one after the other. We got stuck in the lake for over two hours, far away from shore with the houses tiny in the distance. The jet ski all three of us were sitting on as we struggled to make our way back had mechanical issues and eventually capsized suddenly, flinging us into the depths of the water. We all went under, totally submerged in the middle of the lake, that was way deeper than our feet could touch. If not for the life jackets and our little swimming abilities, we would have drowned. Fortunately we were able to hold on to the upside-down jet ski, and each other for our dear lives. With no other boat in sight and the houses on shore being tiny specks in the distance, we were not sure we would make it back to shore. But God intervened, and inch by inch we bounced with the waves, pushing the jet ski forward till we eventually made it to shore. If the tide had risen any higher while we were still deep in the middle of the lake, we would never have made it. Thank God for his mercies.

My Learning Point – Flyboarding Toronto Experience at Lake Simcoe.

The major learning for me from this experience, is to make sure I do my due diligence to research the establishment myself before committing to any outing. I did do my research about this one and had concerns about them, but it was rather late as I had already paid and decided to just go ahead. I will not be making the same mistake ever again, especially not for extreme sports type of services, where the price for doing business with unprofessionals can be life itself. My recommendation for anyone involved in planning such type of intense activities, is to do a bit more research on the credibility and professionalism of the service provider, before choosing one. There are a lot of bad actors online who regardless of what they write on their websites, are negligent unprofessionals at best, and fraudulent quacks at worst. May God deliver us from the hands of such people – but we also need to do our due diligence so we can avoid them in future.

Planning to Flyboard? BEWARE!!! !! !

Lastly, for those who are planning to flyboard anytime, now or in the future, BEWARE. The guy we met was negligent, unprofessional, and could endanger your life without taking any accountability or giving any apology. If you do decide to go ahead, may the guiding angels who rescued us from a watery grave today be with you. Amen.
